Savoy Automobile Museum & Meyer Garage Crawl

Dean & Vickie Meyer have invited the club over to their place for an informal garage crawl and look at their Healey projects this Saturday before the Savoy Auto Museum get together. The Savoy is practically in their backyard (5 minutes away). They have plenty of parking space and will supply coffee and donuts.
We will meet at their house starting at 9:30 for coffee and donuts and then head over to the museum about 11am. That way everyone can have lunch and then have plenty of time to see the museum for as long as they want.
Dean & Vickie's address is 180 Cline Smith Road NE, Cartersville. It is a white house, the first one on the left.
I hope you can join us!

For those of you like me, who have never been to this museum, I hear that it is very well done and that the food is pretty good, too. In addition to their permanent collection, the Savoy has exhibition galleries with rotating exhibits; the latest is "Fabulous Fiberglass" featuring handcrafted cars of the 60’s and 70’s.
I don't know of any scenic ways to get to The Savoy, so let's plan to gather around 11:00 AM following the gathering at the Meyer's home. We can tour for a couple of hours, break for lunch at the Savoy Cafe (sandwiches, salads, pizza, etc.) and either continue browsing the five exhibit halls or carry on with your day elsewhere.
