Make your plans today!

The Fletchers are our hosts and “Healey Awareness Advocates” again by inviting the Atlanta Chapter of the AHCA to their Cracker Fly In. This is always a great event. This is a Cruise In for planes and other aircraft. They fly in from all over the southeast.
Spectators and antique plane owners enjoy seeing our line up of Healeys at the end of the runway. Make your plans to attend.
We will enjoy pancake breakfast there and maybe take a ride in the Viet Nam era Huey Helicoptor. If you do, ask for the gunner seat!!
Come just to find out what a “Sub Healey” is.
From there, we will move our group over the Roger and Kathleen Futrell’s home for lunch. More on that later!

We will be installing an engine and transmission today. For those of you who have never seen this done on a big Healey, you would want to see and help with this. You can see how these beasts are put together.
Let’s all help Todd with his project….and have some coffee and donuts too!
The Annual Ice Cream Social was started by our own Robb Handshuh as an excuse to get our Healeys out and let the public see them…and have some ice cream too. This Public Awareness event has a national scope and each club has members going out and then submitting pictures back in for tallying. Imagine how many people see you and your car on the way to an ice cream shop or predetermined location … hundreds …multiplied by the number of cars participation. The numbers are staggering!
This year it is hosting by John and Linda Miner.

This month, our meeting will be pushed out one week to conincide with the Norcross British Car Fayre. The Norcross Show brings out 150 to 200 British cars of all types each year, populating the downtown streets all morning to about mid afternoon.
This show is fun, close and a must do each year!

Enjoy the North Georgia roads and mountains on this drive hosted by John and Debbie Bowen. Also included is a Wine Tasting. 4 – 8 pm.

Join us at SE Classic XXVI at Myrtle Beach. Following our NE Alabama SE Classic, the Carolina Club is hosting this event in a lower altitude…with lots of water nearby. Who are those 3 guys in the picture…maybe the 3 amigos will make an appearance in SC?
